The straw mat (shield) is made of rye straw, which is cleaned and then sewn by hand in the so-called snail. Accuracy and proper connection of individual coils guarantees its functionality and high quality.
The straw shield, as opposed to the discs made of plastic composites, does not destroy the shot, the shots are easily removed and removed without any damage.
It is lightweight and can easily be transported in a passenger car to various places, eg on a plot, to a forest, a river or a trip with friends to a lake or somewhere outside the city.
Raw material (straw) makes it man-friendly and environmentally friendly even after use.
The shield is recommended mainly for beginner archers, those who are just starting their adventure with archery as well as for all those who have been shooting for a long time.
A single straw mat, however, is not suitable for very strong bows, especially when shooting thin carbon arrows - they can dig too deep!
The shield serves 2-4 seasons - this of course depends on the frequency of its use and the method of storage.

Avoid storing the blade in wet places or exposing the dial to direct contact with water, eg rain, dew, snow etc.
